Real build-in-public playbook from someone doing it

The 80/20 rule (give 80% away free, sell the remaining 20%) is the right mental model and Shelly applies it consistently. The daily cadence — morning plan post, midday process post, evening recap — is more sustainable than the post-whenever-inspiration-strikes approach most people try. The value ladder (free Twitter, free products, newsletter, paid) is clearly mapped to the transparency framework. Would give 5 stars if it had more on handling the weeks when nothing interesting happens. Still one of the more grounded guides on this topic.
